These are the questions we ge asked the most. As more questions arise we'll post them here.


Do you offer Organic or Vegetarian?
Yes we do. Just call and tell us what you need and we'll
be glad to work with you to personalize your Dinner Happens experience.

Where are you located?
We are operating from the Ukiah Senior Center at 495 Leslie Street. It's a Spacious and Modern Professional kitchen. And what nice people they are at the Center!!! We love it there. You will too.

Do you use preservatives?
No. We don't think it's necessary to add preservatives to food that's been handled and stored and cooked safely.

Do I need to make reservations?
Yes. We handpick all our groceries before the session so it's necessary for us to be able to plan efficiently.

Is this another Food "Assembly Line" ?
No. We don't care for the "Sterile and Solo" environment found at other companies. At Dinner Happens, we cater to you.
We think it should be fun! Food is a very social thing. Everything you'll need is brought to you at your workstation.
We spend lots of time working with you so that it all works out.
Oh yeah, We like to have fun too.

Is Dinner Happens a franchise?
No. We are a local independent business with many personal ties in our community. We're both raising families here.
We're not going anywhere.

How much freezer space will I need?
Usually, about three shelves of a regular freezer should hold 12 entrees, each designed to serve six.

How does Dinner Happens save money?
Because we buy in large quantities we're able to provide these menu items at a lower cost than you can get at a store buying them individually.
Also, because you will have so much good healthy food already prepared at home in your freezer, the need for "fast food' or an impulse visit to the store is greatly diminished.
This saves you money and time!

Do kids like Dinner Happens meals?
Yes. In fact, our meals are "Kid Tested" (kids, grandkids and their friends). We hear lots of "More please".

What should I bring?
All you need to bring is a large cooler, laundry basket or some boxes to carry home your meals safely. We provide aprons, gloves, snacks, and everything else you will need.

How much does assembly cost?
A 6 or 12 item package is $20.

Where do you deliver?
Right now we can deliver to the Hopland, Ukiah, and Willits areas.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is $15.

What if I need to cancel?
If you can give us a week's notice before you're session we can refund all your money with no problem at all.
After that it's 50% refundable.
Note: We also understand that real emergencies do happen.
We'll make it right for you.
